二、切开：手术刀应垂直于皮肤，特别在眉弓处皮肤有一定的弧度，更要注意。眉缘处做切开则应注意与眉毛的生长方向平行，尽量减少对眉毛毛囊的破坏。
三、剥离：切眉后通常无法直接缝合，需在切口两侧剥离。剥离时注意两侧的厚度应一致，尤其在距切口缘3mm以内，更要注意，使两侧组织厚薄相当。切眉手术一般在两侧都要剥离，使切缘向中心靠拢，而提眉手术可以只剥离下半，以提高效率。
四、缝合：一定要在皮下缝合一层以减轻张力，如必要可在真皮层加缝几针，缝合时的对位也很重要，否则会出现意想不到的褶痕。
五、包扎：最好用弹力绷带包扎以减少术后的渗血和水肿
